System Engineer (Hong Kong)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for systems installation/configuration, technical support, onsite service.
• Provide pre-sales technical support to sales and technical team in Asia Pacific.
• Provide report document to Sales Director and Regional Sales Manager in Hong Kong and Greater China.

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Electronics Engineering or related discipline is an advantage
• Understanding of Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008/WinXP/Win7
• Understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching and Firewalls
• Understanding corporate networks and cable modems, DSL, firewalls, hardware and software VPN
• Building servers and workstations
• Willing to travel (PRC, Taiwan)
• Good command of English and Chinese (Mandarin is necessary)
• At least 1~2 years experience in IT or related industry. Fresh graduates or no related experience will not be considered.

Preferred:

• Experience with DISE digital signage software
• Experience with Serial server like MOXA or similar
• Experience with Industrial PC like Advantech or similar
• Experience with Windows Embedded Standard 2009/ Win7 Embedded
• Experience with Wireless technology including 802.x and GSM/3G
• Experience with Cisco routers, Catalyst switches and PIX/ASA firewalls
• Experience with IP PBX like Asterisk
• Experience with Linux or Android operating systems
• Experience with Storage Area Networks and virtualization
• Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL
• Certifications with any of the above technologies
