A long wait is finally over. The Dise development team are proud to introduce a simplified version of Dise, aimed for smaller one-screen installations. During the years, Dise has accuired more and more functionality and spanned more and more usage areas. New users with little or no demand for all the high-end possibilities started to feel alienated. Demand was rising for an easy-to-use version of the Dise package, and the dev. team listened.

Is Dise One right for you?

Dise One is designed for one-screen systems and first time users. Typically receptions and small businesses. The person that installs a Dise One system doesn´t need any extraordinary computer skills. If you know how to install a program on your PC, you can install Dise One.

The person that operates Dise One has probably a lot of other things to do and cannot afford to spend a lot of time learning and using Dise. The user interface has been simplified with only the most commonly used features visible.

Playback of the message is done either from the same computer as you use for editing your message, or from a dedicated player computer in the same network as the editing computer. The playback engine is the same hardware accelerated smooth HD-resolution engine that is used in all Dise products.

Easier installation

Installation is as easy as one, two, three. We have simplified the installation procedure and the most commonly used features in a one-screen system is preconfigured out of the box. Just select if your computer is a managing station, a player computer, or both. The installation program takes care of the rest.

Easier user interface

The manager is configured to start with a friendly and intuitive user interface. Choose the text tool, enter your message and press the “Publish” button.

Even though the user interface is simplified, none of the advanced editing features of a more advanced Dise system is removed. You can gradualy add panels, menus and controls to your user interface as you like, or choose any of the predefined layouts. At any moment you can revert to the “beginner” layout again.

Easier networking – Dise Discover

Dise One is designed to work on a local network (LAN). Without the need for more advanced network functions, network setup can be auto-detecting and automatic. This means that you don’t need any special networking skills to setup Dise One. The only thing you need to do is to connect your player to the network, and Dise Discover will detect it and set it up automatically.

Other than updating content, you can also remote control the player from the managing site, such as start, stop, pause and fast-forward the playback.
